Collage Magazine Cover.

In this blogpost you will see my collage magazine cover and a short description below it.

As you can see I made this magazine cover on Microsoft word to demonstrate the limitations that you have, as you can see, everything is basic and not exactly something someone would desire to have as their magazine cover.

Whiles making this magazine cover, it made my decision stronger on using photoshop to make my music magazine since once again, I have no limitations to what I want to do with an image or text.

Collage magazine content page mockup.

In this blog post you will see a screen shot of me making a collage magazine content page mock up.

As you can see I done this mock up on photo shop, now, I prefer photoshop over any other technology iv used to make anything to do with a magazine since you have no limitations in what you want to do, you can do basically anything with any image you desire, I prefer this over doing it on the likes of Microsoft word since your limited with shapes, rotations, and there isn't really any editable options.

I will be using photoshop to create my music magazine since like I just mentioned there are no limitations, so I can be as creative as I want and by doing so, I can make sure that my music magazine will fit in with the genre of music I chose to do it on.

Analysing a magazine cover.

In this blogpost you will see a screen shot of me analysing a NME music magazine cover promoting the pop artist Rihanna.

50 Cent and Susan Boyle photoshop task.

In this blogpost you will see what we done in todays lesson, the task was to merge an image using photoshop of Susan Boyle and 50 Cent, as it where an album cover and to quickly analyse some points on the positives and negatives of it.

In this critical analysis I will give 3 points on positives and negatives on this album cover.

The positives are..

-Widens the range of targeted audience for the album its self
-Promotes both the artists
-It will sell more copies since the album contains 2 complete opposite artists meaning there will be more audience, referring back to the first point.

The negatives are..

-The artists could lose fans due to this since they aren't sticking to their usual music genre's and some fans may disagree with this.
-Could give a negative impact on the artists fans since they may not agree with the opposite music genre.
